BELFAST — Tyler Baker had three goals as the Belfast boys soccer team shut out Mt. View 3-0 in an Eastern Maine Class B preliminary game Monday afternoon.

Baker put Belfast on the board when he scored with 31 seconds left in the first half. He added a pair of unassisted goals in the second half for the Lions, who improve to 9-4-1 and advance to play No. 1 Ellsworth in the quarterfinals Wednesday.

Sam Kulikowski earned the win with save saves.

Mikey Hustus had 10 saves for Mt. View, which ends the season 9-5-1.
