I want to tell voters about a man running for office in Augusta: Corey Wilson.

Wilson, Republican candidate for House District 56, is very impressive. He’s already working hard to improve the local area through his work with numerous non-profits, but he decided that wasn’t enough. He left his job with the Department of Homeland Security so he could run for the Maine House.

Wilson knows these are difficult times and people are struggling; that’s why he decided to run for office. He knows that people expect more than just rhetoric from him as their state legislator, they expect results.

He’s running for the right reasons: He cares about his neighbors and his community.

I’m looking forward to voting for Wilson this November, and I hope others will, too.
