As an attorney with a law practice in Augusta and a resident of Gardiner, I have been personally and professionally affected by the issues that have taken place in the Kennebec and Somerset County District Attorney’s Office.
With the upcoming election, there has been a mass exodus of personnel from the office.
Voting for new leadership and strong prosecution of criminals is a very important role for all of us voters.
I have known Republican Darrick Banda personally and professionally for over seven years.
The voters of these two counties must present a strong leader to keep control and order in our communities, and Banda has the experience and ability to make sure we continue to be a safe society.
I urge all to take this very seriously and put Banda in a position to ensure there are penalties for the actions of criminals.
