We recently received a political mailer from the Republican Party attacking Catherine Nadeau, Democratic candidate for House District 54 (Winslow and Benton).
We were puzzled to see a picture of someone other than Nadeau next to her name. Many of our elected and appointed Republican officials have been running our state with the same carelessness for the last two years. We believe it is time for a change.
We have seen Nadeau’s good work on the Winslow town council over the years. She listens to the concerns of her constituents and the opinions of the other councilors, making intelligent, informed decisions.
To imply in the mailer that she is going to favor and participate in Democratic cronyism is offensive to the good work Nadeau has done in Winslow and the work she will do in the House of Representatives.
Please join us in voting for Nadeau on Nov. 6.
