Craig Hickman, Democratic candidate for House District 82, has a record reaching across political, religious and community lines to ensure that people are safe, fed and included.
When the Hot Meals Kitchen in Winthrop was closed because of budgetary restraints in 2011, Hickman opened his home to anyone in need of a meal, ensuring no one in our community went hungry.
His work didn’t stop with personal charity. Hickman worked with key community members to reopen the kitchen at St. Francis Parish Hall.
Hickman is a proven community leader. It’s time for the citizens of Winthrop and Readfield to elect him to go to Augusta so he can work to make sure our state government’s work benefits the people in a meaningful and sustainable way.
