It seems that in our current political climate, many legislators work solely for their party. They seem to forget that, once elected, they represent the concerns and values of everyone in their district.
This is something I know Doreen Sheive, Democratic candidate for House District 56, will remember as our representative from East Augusta to the State House.
Sheive grew up in central Maine and raised her son here. As a state employee, she worked to represent Maine’s unorganized territories, where residents have no local government of their own.
This gave Sheive experience advocating for people from all walks of life. She knows that in order to be successful, people have to be the priority, regardless of their political affiliation. She will represent all of her constituents, with professionalism and respect. Please join me in supporting Sheive for state representative in Augusta’s House District 56.
