I don’t really know where to start. There’s no real way to describe my mom, Susan Morissette, Republican candidate for House District 54.

What I like most is that she’s willing to go out of her way to help other people.

I enjoy going to Veterans Park on Veterans Day, not because I get to thank the veterans because you “should,” but because I realize, more and more as I get older, how much they deserve it. It comforts me knowing they got at least part of what they deserve.

Mom also has a 9/11 memorial, the Heart of America Quilt. I cherish the moment that we get to set it up and just make a few people’s days that much better.

It’s pretty neat to see all the things everyone can change. I can’t wait until Veterans Day and I hope to see plenty of people there.
