I write to urge your readers in Augusta to cast their votes for Harold Elliott Jr. for the Augusta City Council.
I currently live in a neighboring town, but for 20 years I lived in Augusta and became good friends with Junior and his wife, Ann.
Harold Jr. is an honest and just person. He is fair and open-minded to the views of others. He is an advocate for the common man and common woman.
You will not find him making back-room deals for the benefit of a select few at the expense of the residents of Augusta — the people who live by the rules and pay their taxes and want good neighborhoods.
The voters of Augusta can see through the whiny ads of his opponent. You want someone positive on the Council. You want someone with fresh ideas. Vote for Elliott.
