I will be voting for Cathy Nadeau, Democratic candidate for House District 54 (Winslow and Benton).
It’s an easy decision for me. Last spring, as the House was preparing to strip injured workers of some of their rights, I patiently waited in the State House for Susan Morissette to finish a 20-minute friendly banter with an insurance industry lobbyist. After she finished, I introduced myself as a constituent of hers. She said, “I don’t have time to talk to you now, email me.”
Is that the type of representative Winslow and Benton citizens deserve? One that has ample time for a lobbyist, but offers nothing to a constituent?
I don’t think so. Do you? Join me in voting for a positive change. Vote for Nadeau.
