AUGUSTA — Old Fort Western, 16 Cony St., will hold its traditional Thanksgiving preparation from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4.

Indoor activities include colonial cooking and food preparation demonstrations in the fort’s kitchen and parlor and making cloth in preparation for winter sewing. Participants will learn about the military history of this area and visit soldiers who will be outdoors cooking rations. A blacksmith will be at the forge demonstrating his craft.

Visitors should dress warmly. All ages are welcome and admission is by donation only.
