FARMINGTON — The Small Woodland Owners Association of Maine, the Maine Forest Service and School Administrative District 9 Adult Education will host an informational session on managing a woodlot for deer h

Maine Department on Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Biologist Bob Cordes will speak on deer ecology and habitat, MFS District Forester Patty Cormier will speak on forest management relative to deer habitat, and Marcia Baker of the Rangeley Region Guides and Sportsmen’s Association will speak on their program of creating and maintaining food plots for deer in the Rangeley area.

The session will be held at at 5:30 p.m. Tuesdsay, Nov. 20, at Farmington Middle School (around back, cafeteria entrance) on Middle Street.
