I was horrified by the photo on the front page of Sunday’s Kennebec Journal of the dead deer hanging by its neck.
Many of your readers, including my wife and I, are animal lovers who like to admire deer for their beauty and would prefer that you not publish pictures like this.
If you have to in order to pander to the bloodthirsty hunters, please bury them in the back of the newspaper where they belong. The accompanying story was equally disgusting and we immediately threw that section into the trash.
Also, we will be really happy when the elections are over.
All the letters to the editor expressing people’s support for various candidates is a waste of ink and paper. They are extremely boring to read so we no longer do.
