WILTON — The Wilton Scholarship Foundation recently met to organize activities for the coming year. Planning included raising money for local scholars through a letters of appeal campaign and an auction in the spring.
For the 2012 year the WSF used money from previous donations, the auction and trust funds’ interest to provide scholarship to 56 graduating seniors and non-traditional students from Wilton, East Wilton, East Dixfield, Dryden and Weld. Every eligible applicant receives some financial help to further his or her education. To apply, contact Mt. Blue High School’s guidance department.
