WINSLOW — Rachel Moroney completed her hat trick with 1 minute, 17 seconds remaining in overtime to lift Brunswick to a 3-2 win over Winslow in a girls hockey game at Sukee Arena on Wednesday evening.

Brunswick (1-3-0) trailed 2-0 after the first period before roaring back. Moroney scored two goals in the second period as Brunswick tied it.

Brennay O’Conell and Paige Veilleux each scored for Winslow (1-3-0). Reagan Cain had 38 saves for the Raiders while Claire Mendes had 19 for the Dragons.

Women’s basketball

Siena 53, Maine 50: The Black Bears took a 12-point halftime lead, but Igna Krogh hit a 3-pointer with 2.7 seconds left as Siena rallied for the win in Loundonville, N.Y.

Liz Wood scored 12 points and grabbed six rebounds for Maine, which falls to 1-7. Danielle Walczak and Courtney Anderson each scored eight points for the Black Bears.

Ida Krogh, who made the game-winning 3, and Lily Grenci each had 13 points for Siena (3-5).

Maine-Machias 58, Unity 25: Dana Houghton and Yvanessa Vincent each scored 14 points to lead Maine Machias at Unity College.

Rebecca Young added eight points for the Clippers (4-3).

Candance Robinson scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to pace the Rams (0-7).
