HINCKLEY — The L.C. Bates Museum will offer the following December hands-on winter programs for families:

* Winter weeds walk and bouquets will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday. Participants should dress warmly for the walk through surrounding fields for a collection of winter plants to design a bouquet.

* Animal tracks in winter is set for 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15. Participants will take a winter trail walk to uncover the winter world outside. After the walk, children can create track flash cards to bring home for easy identification in their backyards.

* Flora and fauna of the season will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22. The program will explore the history of plants and animals of the holidays. Participants should dress warmly for the outside tour. Crafts can be made to bring home.

Regular admission museum admission is $3 for adults and $1 for those younger than 18.
