FARMINGTON — Healthy Community Coalition will host a free landowner’s forum, as part of its Mapping Our Footsteps Initiative, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, in Franklin Memorial Hospital’s Chisholm Room. This opportunity is for local landowners and managers to learn more about their rights and responsibilities and the benefits of allowing public use of their land.

Mark Latti, landowner relations/recreational access coordinator for the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, will speak about landowner liability laws and how local outdoor groups and organizations can work with landowners to allow public use on private land.
