AUGUSTA — Dave Fisher and the Celtic Cowboys will give the final performance in Lithgow Public Library’s annual Holiday Concert Series at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Reading Room at the library, 45 Winthrop St.
The Celtic Cowboys will play a mix of traditional holiday songs along with Celtic jigs and reels, country blues, and gospel. Members of the trio are Dave Fisher, vocals and acoustic guitar; Lloyd Allen, known as Ramblin’ Doc Allen, harmonica and tin whistle; and Anita Niederer, bass fiddle and vocals. The group has recorded a CD of folk, cowboy and Celtic songs, called “Home Again We’ll Ride.”
The concert is free and open to the public.
