PITTSFIELD — Sebasticook Valley Health has been recognized three years in a row for quality by a national organization.
SVH received Top Rural Hospital in Maine honors by The Leapfrog Group, which is based in Washington, DC.
The group recognized SVH for its outstanding success in infection rates, safety practices, mortality rates for common procedures, and measures of efficiency. The announcement was recently made at Leapfrog’s Annual Symposium in Baltimore, Md.
