OLD TOWN — Tyler Boudreau scored three goals in the second period as the Lawrence boys hockey team beat Old Town 6-4 to earn an Eastern B win at the University of Maine in Orono.

Andrew Carpenter added two second period goals as the Bulldogs (2-4-0) scored give times to take a 5-4 lead. Jordan Nutting, who had two assists as well, scored an insurance goal in the third. Josh Doolan also had an assist and Kyle McLain had 30 saves.

Kyle Dube had two goals, while Jordan Pinkham and Nick Gaudet each had one for Old Town (0-4-0). Chase Albert made 24 saves.

Brunswick 4, Waterville 2: Cam Heatley scored in the second and third periods as the Dragons beat the Panthers in an Eastern A game at Colby College in Waterville.

Dwayne Palmer added a first-period goal and Jacob McGowan scored an insurance goal in the third for Brunswick (4-1-0). Jared Parent, Joe Waring, Parker Wild, Andy Auclair and McGowan each added an assist, while Blake Alexander had 16 saves for Brunswick.

Will Bolduc had a goal and an assist for Waterville (2-4-0). Chris Lee also scored and Caleb Kane had 29 saves.

Girls hockey

Winslow 2, Biddeford 2, OT: Britany Whitaker scored with 1:50 left in the third period to force overtime as the Black Raiders tied the Tigers at Biddeford Ice Arena.

Tiffany Gagne scored in the second period to give Biddeford (4-4-1) a 1-0 lead. Jennifer Poulin scored an unassisted goal in the third period to tie it for Winslow (2-6-2) before AnnMarie Rowe scored from Delani Roy to give Biddeford back the lead. Poulin assisted on the goal to tie the game.

Jessica Cane had 23 saves for Winslow, while Cassie Ellis had 29 saves for Biddeford.

Girls basketball

Rangeley 67, Valley 18: Tori Letarte had 21 points and Abby Abbott added 17 as the Lakers beat the Cavaliers in Rangeley.
Blayke Morin added 10 points and 11 rebounds, while Jenney Abbott grabbed 10 boards for Rangeley (3-0).
Sydney Vincent had six points for Valley (2-3).

Medomak Valley 48, Waterville 16: Hannah Marks scored 13 points as Medomak Valley beat Waterville.

Samatnah Griffin added nine points for Medomak Valley (2-5).

Colleen O’Donnell had seven points for Waterville (2-5).

Lincoln 42, Winslow 39: Jennifer Genthner had 14 points as the Eagles beat the Black Raiders in a KVAC B game in Newcastle.

Taylor Oliver added nine points for Lincoln (2-4).
Devin Fitzgibbons had 12 points for Winslow (1-5)

Maranacook 67, Mt. View 41: Christine Miller scored 15 of her game-high 23 points in the first half to lead the Black Bears to the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B win in Readfield.

Maranacook scored 26 points in the first quarter and led 43-23 at the half.

Liz D’Angelo added 16 points for Maranacook (3-3) while teammate Mariah Vining scored 10.
Courtney Morse scored 10 points for Mt. View (1-5).

Boys basketball

Messalonskee 63, Skowhegan 30: Nick Mayo scored 10 points as the Eagles beat the Indians in a KVAC A game in Oakland.

Jordan Greenleaf added nine points and Elijah Steele eight for Messalonskee (2-4).

Dequan Frost had 11 points for Skowhegan (1-5).

Winslow 43, Lincoln 33: Justin Martin had 11 points, 11 rebounds, eight blocked shots and five steals to lead the Black Raiders to the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B win in Winslow.

Trevor Lovely added 12 points for Winslow (4-2) while Sawyer Pinkham scored 11 points to lead Lincoln (1-5).

Valley 104, Rangeley 22: Carrington Miller scored 23 points to lead six players into double figures as the Cavaliers coasted to the East/West Conference win.

olin Miller added 18 points while Cody Laweryson scored 11 and Dylan Belanger, John Miller and Luke Malloy added 10 each. A.J. Elms led Rangeley (0-3) with 10 points. Valley is 4-1.

Women’s basketball

James Madison 88, Maine 34: Tarik Hislop scored 14 points and Kirby Burkholder had 13 as the Dukes beat the Black Bears in Harrisonburg, Va.

Danielle Walczak had nine points and five rebounds for Maine (1-10).
