Two injured in Hallowell crash involving city plow truck Saturday

HALLOWELL — Two people were taken to MaineGeneral Medical Center by Augusta Rescue Saturday evening, following a two-vehicle crash involving a city plow truck at Second and West streets.

The 7:48 p.m. accident was investigated by a Kennebec Sheriff’s Office deputy, a Hallowell police officer said on Sunday. No further details were available on Sunday.

At 12:20 p.m., a burglary was reported by a caller from at Crosby Lane and State Street.

3:26 p.m., a caller reported criminal trespass at Walgreens, Water Street.

SUNDAY

At 12:15 a.m., a 23-year-old Augusta woman was issued a summons on a charge of assault following a report of a disturbance / disorderly conduct at Shenanigans, Water Street.

1 p.m., a Penobscot Street caller reported theft.

At 1:15 a.m., James R. Shorey, 32, of Augusta, was arrested on Mt. Vernon Avenue on two charges of domestic violence assault.
