WINSLOW — Josh Doolan had three goals and the Lawrence boys hockey team scored three times in the third period to beat Winslow 6-3 on Saturday night.

Tyler Boudreau added two goals and two assists for Lawrence, which improves to 3-4-0. Andrew Carpenter also had a goal and an assists for Lawrence, while Jordan Nutting had two assists and Luke Lawrence and Brady Martin each had one. Kyle McLain made 32 saves for the Bulldogs.

Alex Berard had two goals and an assist for Winslow (1-6-0). Jacob Cain also scored, while Nick Dennis had two assists and Cameron Grenier had one. Cam Tibbetts had 32 saves for the Black Raiders.

Maine women fall to Towson

TOWSON, Md. — Danielle Walczak scored a career-high 20 points in the University of Maine women’s basketball team’s 69-64 loss to Towson on Sunday.

Dominique Johnson led Towson (6-5) with 20 points, while Tanisha McTiller had a double-double with 15 points and 16 rebounds.

Ashleigh Roberts added 15 points and Liz Wood had 11 points and 10 rebounds for Maine (1-11).
