AUGUSTA — A jury in Kennebec County Superior Court convicted an Oakland, Calif., woman of a charge of operating under the influence, which occurred Feb. 3 in Winthrop.

State finds money to pay laywers of indigent clients
AUGUSTA — Bills from lawyers representing indigent defendants will be paid sooner rather than later now that the governor stepped in with some emergency funding.
Unity’s Trunzo earns Volunteer of the Year

State Museum to host Girl Scout exhibit
AUGUSTA — The Maine State Museum will open a special exhibit “Girl Scouts: Celebrating One Hundred Years.” The exhibit can be seen from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting Saturday, June 23, through Aug. 31, with a day filled with activities.
