FARMINGTON — The referendum vote to approve a new emergency 911 dispatch center for Franklin County passed by just 27 votes based on preliminary returns Wednesday afternoon, a county official said.

WATERVILLE — Voters Tuesday approved a $19.7 million Waterville schools budget for 2012–13, 994-226. The budget represents a .66 percent decrease from the current $19.9 million school budget.
