Augusta school budget approved
AUGUSTA — Voters overwhelmingly approved a $26.8 million school budget Tuesday. Augusta residents voted 1,133 to 424 in a school budget validation referendum, according to unofficial totals. The budget was previously approved by the Augusta Board of Education and City Council. The budget passed by large margins in all four of the city’s voting wards.
