SKOWHEGAN — Somerset County USDA Farm Service Agency recently announced the Supplemental Revenue Assistance Payments program enrollment for 2010 crop year losses will end June 1.
USDA irrigation assistance available
BANGOR — The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service in Maine recently announced they have received Fiscal Year 2012 Agricultural Management Assistance program funds for irrigation assistance to private landowners in Maine. Approximately $294,000 will be made available to both large- and small-scale irrigators. The application deadline is Feb. 10.
