Museum of Pacific war in Texas, not Maryland
The article, “Piece of Arizona to be unveiled today,” printed in the newspaper on Dec. 7 told readers they could find the National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredricksburg, Md., if they want to visit it. The problem is … there is no Fredricksburg in Maryland. There is a famous battleground by the town with that name in Virginia, but the museum is not there either.

Central Mainers react to Conn. school shooting
WATERVILLE — On Friday 26 people were shot by a gunman at a Connecticut elementary school. Adam Lanza, 20, forced his way into the school, and killed 20 children, the school principal, school psychologist and four teachers. He also shot his mother, at her home in Newtown, Conn., before the school rampage.
