AUGUSTA — The Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce will hold a Women’s Network Luncheon featuring Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Barbara Walsh from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Senator Inn & Spa, 284 Western Ave.
Walsh will talk about the challenges she faced in researching and writing her biography/memoir “August Gale: A Father and Daughter’s Journey into the Storm.” She will also speak briefly about her children’s book, “Sammy in the Sky,” which is illustrated by painter Jamie Wyeth. Walsh will sign copies of the books.
