CHELSEA — Male staff members at Chelsea Elementary School took part in the MoVember/NoShave Awareness Campaign and raised $250 which was donated to the American Cancer Society for Men’s Cancer Health Research.

On the last day of October, participating staff came to school clean shaven and, during the entire month of November, did not shave their beard or mustaches. Pictures were taken each week to show their progress and displayed in the front hallway. At the end of the month, students, staff, and community members voted for the staff member with the best growth.

After a week of voting, Principal Andrew Doiron was voted winner. All participants were recognized at a school assembly and Doiron was presented with a special trophy.
