FREEPORT — Efficiency Maine recently recognized a number of prominent customers and business partners before an audience of more than 200 people at its annual awards ceremony and symposium at the Hilton Garden Inn. A number of Efficiency Maine vendors, customers and other partners received awards for efforts in saving energy and money.

The Participating Energy Advisor of the Year award was presented to The Breathable Home, a Manchester-based business led by Bo Jespersen. The Breathable Home has completed the most projects financed through Efficiency Maine’s low-interest PACE and PowerSaver loans — at 20 — and was an early adopter of Efficiency Maine’s air sealing incentive for homeowners.

Efficiency Maine’s energy-saving programs reduce the use of electricity and heating fuels through energy efficiency improvements and the use of cost-effective alternative energy.
