BANGOR — An academic credit transfer plan within Maine’s public colleges and universities is on the agenda when the University of Maine System Board of Trustees meets in Bangor.
Trustees will receive updates on major initiatives, including the academic credit transfer plan, which will make it easier for students to move among Maine’s public universities and from the community colleges.
They’ll also hear about a plan to enhance baccalaureate degree completion among Maine adults who have some college credits.
Chancellor James Page plans to tell the trustees what progress has been made on a major public-private partnership between higher education and Maine businesses, called Project Login.
