JEFFERSON — Dr. Chuck Dinsmore was recently voted in as the newest member of Hidden Valley Nature Center’s board at the center’s annual meeting.
Dinsmore graduated from Sanford High School and Bowdoin College. He received a Ph.D. in biology from Brown University.
He was a biology teacher at Lincoln Academy from 2000 to 2008.
A volunteer at the center since 2009, he was awarded volunteer of the year award in 2010. He and his wife Megan live Damariscotta.
Other board members are Bill Dalke, Eleanor Goldberg, Kristin Pennock, Joe Barth, Amy Preston, Greg Shute and Bambi Jones.
