OAKLAND — Pre-K registration packets for Regional School Unit 18, Belgrade, China, Oakland, Rome and Sidney will be available at the elementary schools Friday.

Interested parents should pickup registration packets at their local school office. To qualify for the program, children must be 4 years old by Oct. 15, 2013.

Kindergarten screening will be held in the elementary schools on the following dates for each school:

* Belgrade Central School, March 27; 495-2321

* China Primary School, March 29; 445-1550

* Atwood Elementary School, March 25; 465-3411

* James Bean School, April 1; 547-3395

Any parent who intends to send their child, 5 years old by Oct. 15, 2013, to kindergarten in the fall, should call their local school office to make an appointment.
