PITTSFIELD — School Administrative District 53, Burnham, Pittsfield and Detroit, kindergarten registration for the 2013-14 school year starts Monday.
Children must be five years old on or before Oct. 15, 2013, to start school in the fall. For screening information, call Manson Park School at 487-2281 prior to March 29. The screening will be Friday, April 26 at the Manson Park School. Appointments will be made after the completed paperwork has been returned.
To complete the registration forms, parents will need a copy of the child’s birth certificate and proof of immunization.
The Manson Park Preschool Program is also taking applications for the 2013-14 school year. Children born between Oct. 15, 2008, and Oct. 15, 2009, are eligible for free program open to all families in the district. If interested in the this program, call the Superintendent’s Office at 487-5107 for an application.
