Center Jeff Nelson, who holds the team’s single-season points record, will be the 2013 inductee into the Portland Pirates Hall of Fame.

Nelson will join his brother Todd Nelson as the 17th member of the team’s hall of fame during the Mar. 9 game against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at the Cumberland County Civic Center.

During Portland’s 93-94 inaugural season, Nelson scored 34 goals and had a team-record 73 assists to help the Pirates win the Calder Cup.
