HINCKLEY — Kennebec Valley Community College will host its seventh annual fundraising gala, “An Evening of Jazz,” from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, March 29, to raise money for student programs and resources, according to a press release.
The semi-formal event will be held at KVCC’s Harold Alfond Campus. It will include silent and live auctions, dinner, dancing and music from the KVCC Faculty Jazz Band.
“The Jazz Gala has become a vital part of our efforts to support the needs of our students, and the generosity shown by those who attend this special event truly makes a difference,” Barbara W. Woodlee, president of KVCC, said in the release. “Such support is critically important to those working to reach their educational goals, and in difficult economic times the need is great.”
