Waterville teen charged after crash

Waterville police Wednesday night responded to Little Caesar’s Pizza at 371 Main St. for a report of a vehicle accident with personal injury.

When police arrived, they found that a pickup truck had backed through the front door of the  pizza shop, according to Deputy police Chief Charles Rumsey.

“The truck ended up inside the business,” he said.

The female driver, 16, had a learner’s permit but not a driver’s license, and was charged with driving without a license, Rumsey said. Her male passenger, also 16, was charged with allowing unlawful use, Rumsey said.

There were no injuries in the crash, he said.
