Breakfast buffet to aid Ripple Effect
WATERVILLE — Ripple Effect Project will host a benefit breakfast buffet from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday, March 3, at REM Center, 93 Main St. Cost is $10 in advance, $12 at door, $6 for children 7 and younger. The fundraiser will support self-sustainable agricultural and educational endeavors in sub-Saharan Africa. Organizers will serve pancakes, scrambled eggs, breakfast breads, fruit, coffee, juice and more.
Health career scholarships available
FARMINGTON — The Franklin Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is offering health career scholarships. The scholarships will be presented to students in need of financial assistance who reside in Greater Franklin County, including Livermore Falls and Livermore, and are pursuing careers in the health-care field.
