BANGOR — A jury is being selected in the murder trial of a 49-year-old Bradford man charged in the beating death of a construction company owner.
Jury selection begins Tuesday in Penobscot County Superior Court in Bangor for the trial of Peter Robinson. His trial starts March 25.
Robinson is charged in the November 2011 death of 71-year-old David Trask, of Hudson.
Police say Trask came at Robinson with a crowbar in a dispute, and that Robinson grabbed the metal bar from him and then struck him over the head in a fatal blow.
Robinson and Trask had a history of disputes stemming from access issues to Robinson’s land.
Robinson, who owns an automotive garage, was arrested five days after Trask’s body was found on property near Robinson’s home.
