FARMINGDALE — Cynthia Raymond, a seventh-grade English/Language Arts teacher at Hall-Dale Middle School is one of 14 teachers nominated to become the Maine Department of Education’s 2014 Maine Teacher of the Year.
Raymond started at Hall-Dale Middle School in 1989. Her attention to detail in planning and ability to differentiate her instruction allows all students to move efficiently along the continuum of learning targets and measurement topics, according to a news release from the school.
