WATERVILLE — Two local teachers, Laurie Rodrigue, an English/Language Arts teacher at Cony High School in Augusta, and Cindy Raymond, seventh grade English/Language Arts teacher at Hall-Dale Middle School in Farmingdale, were nominated for 2014 Maine Teacher of the Year Award.
They were honored, along with other nominees, at a celebratory luncheon in Waterville hosted by the Maine State Teacher of the Year Association.
They received framed certificates recognizing them as nominees.
