CONWAY, N.H. — Police in Conway, N.H., have accused two men from Maine of stealing a woman’s purse at gunpoint at a shopping center.
The woman told police the men escaped in a white car Sunday afternoon at the Conway Market Place off of Route 16.
A New Hampshire state trooper stopped the car a short time later. Arrested were Isaac White of Fryeburg and Walter Peek-Antolin of Brownfield. Both are 20.
Police tell WMWV radio that they recovered a stolen pistol that had been tossed out of the car.
Both were arraigned in Conway District Court on Monday.
