BURLINGTON, Vt. — Benjamin P. Daggett of Litchfield, Maine, has been named to the fall 2012 semester dean’s list at the University of Vermont.

Jacques receives

engineering honor

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. — Maggie Jacques of Chelsea, Maine, has been named one of the “2013 New Faces of Civil Engineering — College Edition” by the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Jacques is a senior at Merrimack College, where she is a civil engineering major with a minor in mathematics.

Jacques has been involved in the American Society of Civil Engineers at the college’s School of Science and Engineering since her freshman year and is the current president. She has twice participated in service work in Haiti with the school’s engineering team, where they have assessed and made repairs to a water system damaged by the 2010 earthquake.

Putnam receives

term honors

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — Allison Putnam, a member of the class of 2013 at Skidmore College, has received term honors for the fall 2012 semester.

She is the daughter of Roger and Sally Putnam of South China.
