AUGUSTA — The University of Maine at Augusta will hold two free college-planning workshops in the Fireplace Lounge of the Randall Student Center on the Augusta campus. The workshops will be 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 4.
The workshops include a career-planning tool that will help identify a college major, an overview of UMA’s college application process and a campus tour. Applies to UMA filed during the session will have the $40 application fee waived.
The workshops are free and open to the public. To reserve a spot, call the UMA Advising Center at 621-3149.
There will be two workshops the following week on the UMA Bangor campus in Eastport Hall. Those workshops are set for 4-6 p.m. Monday, April 8, and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 10.
