IRVING, Texas — Mary Couture of Sidney, Maine, a senior English major at the University of Dallas, has been named to the fall 2012 semester dean’s list.

FARMINGTON — Ashley Godbout, daughter of Rick and Jackie Godbout of Hallowell, has been named to the fall 2012 semester dean’s list at the University of Maine at Farmington.

Godbout is majoring in secondary math education. She graduated from Hall-Dale High School in 2011.

Copenhaver receives

MEDFORD, Mass. — Eloise Copenhaver Harnett of Gardiner, Maine, has been named to the fall 2012 semester dean’s list at Tufts University.

Harnett is a 2012 graduate of Gardiner Area High School and is the daughter of Lisa Copenhaver and Thom Harnett.

Hickey named

to dean’s list

PORTLAND — Ashley Hickey, daughter of Gary and Tammy Hickey of West Gardiner, has been named to the fall 2012 semester dean’s list at the University of New England.

A 2009 graduate of Gardiner Area High School, Hickey is a dental hygiene major. She is also actively involved at the university in UNE Field Hockey as a four-year starter, achieving a 2009 Eastern College Athletic Conference championship, 2010 The Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship, UNE and The Commonwealth Coast Conference all-academic team and 2011 Gladiator/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III National Academic Squad; Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society; and as an active member of the Student American Dental Hygiene Association. She is a cum laude honors student. Hickey has an associate’s degree in dental hygiene and is currently working towards her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. In addition, she has passed all her licensing exams and is now a registered dental hygienist in the state of Maine.
