PHILLIPS — The Third Annual Toothaker Pond Ice Out Contest is officially open. Participant can register a prediction(s) for $2 a ticket. Tickets are available at Phillips Hardware, 5K Pizza and Camden National Bank. Dora Dill and her daughter, Celeste Reid, are also selling tickets. They may be reached at 639-2238 or 779-7822.
All predictions must be placed by Monday, April 15. The forecaster with the closest prediction, including date and time, will receive half the total of the money raised through the sale of the tickets. The other half of the proceeds will be donated to the community organization or charity of the winner’s choice.
