The government is now referring to our Social Security checks as a federal benefit payment.

Who are they trying to kid? Our contributions over the years are paying their salaries.

Social Security isn’t a benefit, it’s earned income to all us seniors.

Not only did we all contribute to Social Security, but our employers did also.

They should call it what it is: Seniors Earned Retirement Income, not a federal benefit.

Do any of you have any idea of what your monthly check would be if we would have been able to invest our own money? We would all be living like our politicians are now.
