WINSLOW — A free five-week series of parenting classes, Guiding Good Choices, is open to the community and will be held 5-7:30 p.m. Wednesdays, May 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29, at Winslow Elementary School.
This is an evidence-based class for parents/guardians of children ages 9-14. Topics will include: building family relationship and bonds, establishing and reinforcing clear and consistent guidelines and expectations for behavior, and teaching children skills to resist peer influence.
There will be free childcare on site and free dinner for participating families.
