I understand that Christopher Knight, the hermit, is news here in Maine for his 27 years living in the woods, allegedly stealing to live.

I am completely baffled, however, as to why he has become national news. If he’s convicted of the crimes he’s accused of, we should lock him up. We shouldn’t make him a media sensation.
