GARDINER — Ian Lane belted a three-run home run to left field as Gardiner jumped out to a quick lead in the first inning and went on to down Nokomis 6-3 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B baseball game Monday.

Jensen Orewiler added two doubles and an RBI for the Tigers (3-2). Zach Farrin picked up the win in relief of Dennis Meehan.

Justin Kazprzak had two singles and two RBIs for Nokomis (1-5).

Hall-Dale 6, Wiscasset 2: Matt Plourde had two singles and two RBIs to lead the Bulldogs to the Mountain Valley Conference win in Farmingdale. Brian Allen earned the win and also had a double, a single and an RBI for Hal-Dale (2-2). Colin Lush and Nick Sinclair each had a double.

Dylan McMahon tripled for Wiscasset (1-3).

Cony 10, Edward Little 0: Tyler Tardiff had three hits to lead the Rams to a KVAC A win in a six inning contest ended by the mercy rule in Augusta.

Tardiff had two singles and a double while teammate Keith Cloutier had two singles and Reid Shostak smacked a double for Cony (3-2). Thomas Foster allowed no runs on four hits, striking out three batters to earn the win.

Nate Pushard had a double for Edward Little (1-4).

Oxford Hills 6, Erskine 3: Matt Beauchesne had two singles and Brian Godin pitched four innings to earn the KVAC A victory in South Paris. Walter Feeney and Garrett Phiillpbrown combined to throw three scoreless innings of relief for the Vikings (4-1).

John Suga had a double to lead Erskine (1-4).

Bangor 7, Messalonskee 3: Anthony Capiano and Tyler Laplante each had a double and a single to lead the Rams to the KVAC A victory in Bangor. Greg Duff pitched four innings to earn the win for Bangor (4-2), which trailed 3-1 before it scored five in the fourth inning to take the lead for good.

Jake Dexter and losing pitcher Devin Warren each had three singles to lead the Eagles (4-2).
