Crash injures driver, topples utility pole

STRONG — An Augusta man suffered minor injuries and the car he was driving knocked down a utility pole during a car accident Friday morning.
Eric Lee, 21, said he possibly fell asleep while driving west on Route 4 in Strong and drifted off the road, according to a news release from Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols. Lee said he overcorrected after drifting off the road and struck the pole. Nichols said Lee suffered minor injuries and was examined at the site of the accident by Northstar Ambulance personnel.
The Strong Fire Department and two Franklin County deputies also went to the accident scene.

9:36 a.m., a theft was reported at Dunkin’ Donuts on Kennedy Memorial Drive.
11:34 a.m., criminal mischief was reported at Pine Grove Cemetery on Grove Street.
1:09 p.m., a theft was reported at Colby College.
2:31 p.m., a theft was reported at the Maine Children’s Home on Silver Street.
4:28 p.m., threatening was reported at Countryside Trailer Park on Victoria Drive.
6:01 p.m., harassment was reported on Yeaton Street.
7 p.m., fireworks were reported on Paris Street.
7:21 p.m., an unwanted person was reported on Veteran Court.
Friday at 3:22 a.m., an unwanted person was reported on College Avenue.
6:33 a.m., an unwanted person was reported at J&S Oil on Kennedy Memorial Drive.
IN WILTON, Thursday at 7:58 p.m., was reported on Main Street.
9:35 p.m., a disturbance was reported on Main Street.

Arrests
IN FRANKLIN COUNTY, Thursday, Alice Lala, 20, of Biddeford, was arrested on the charge of theft.
Darcy L. Smith, 33, of Rangeley, was arrested on the charge of unpaid fines or fees.
Jessica Wallace, 27, of Farmington, was arrested on charges of theft and violating a condition of release.
Sean Haley, 30, of Phillips, was arrested on a charge of unpaid fines or fees.
David Nadeau, 27, of Jay, was arrested on a charge of unpaid fines or fees.
David Sarti, 29, of Wilton, was arrested on a charge of failure to appear.
Jason Cole, 35, of Anson, was arrested on a charge of violation of a bail condition.
Friday, Linda Littlefield, 30, of Wilton, was arrested on charges of criminal mischief and obstructing the report of a crime.
